We bring some new slants to some old proven & established products
In
the days when a Mini Excavator or digger on trailer was not a common site, or a
large van towing a trailer and excavator was in almost every traffic
queue and every hole in the road had a Mini Digger, Trailer &
Van
parked next to it, minor excavations were carried out by small towable
diggers known as Backhoes.
In some cases they provided their
own propulsion, but in most cases they were simply pushed, pulled or
towed or indeed simply moved by using the arms and bucket!and the skill
of the operator.
Then came the 360 degree tracked
counterbalanced Mini Excavator which rapidly became the fashion and the
smaller simpler machines fell from use. These diggers have gone from a
fairly simple Towhoe type mounted on a self powered tracked
undercarriage to a very Hi Tech product with computer control &
load sensors with subsequent high costs and increased expensive
maintenance.
At SKORPION MICRO DIGGERS we are attempting to turn the clock back to the days when digging a hole or trench was an easier, inexpensive project.
Our small Micro Digger can be towed by a normal car or loaded into a van and is easily manouvered by one man and (with the detachable towbar removed) stored in a very small space and can match the performance of much bigger machines.
New Slants On Old Ideas (& Some New Ideas)
Convenient Space Saving Design
It
can squeeze through the narrowest of doorways as the wheels can move in
or out to suit conditions and the Seat & Boom unit can be
easily
separated from the contact base and carried by 2 men to remote locations.
We
also have a unit powered by Mains Electricity (240 or 110 volts)
for internal use (basements or under floor excavations etc)
with
no poisonous exhaust fumes! This unit can also be used outside with
either an appropriate extension lead or a small generator.
We also supply the machine in KIT
FORM FOR SELF ASSEMBLY.
The machine is assembled by us and stripped down then strapped on a
pallet for shipping kits can be whole or part machines if the client
can supply some of their own components.
